Great place good food I was just used to deep South bbg. There meat and slaw was extra choped but was delicious!!

Great BBQ Place!! Great prices! Friendly helpful staff ! Plus best Cole slaw and BBQ sauce I've ever tasted! And I'm usually not very fund of cole slaw! A+ Fresh Air!!

Ribs were very good, soup was excellent, slaw was a little sweet for my taste, beans were outstanding as well as the key lime pie. Just the right amount of tang.

I had the pork plate and it was delicious. The meat was tender, juicy and full of flavor. The sauce was different, a little lemony but still good. I would recommend you stop by if you are in the north Macon area.

Poor choice of food. BBQ not the best. White sliced bread instead of toasted.

This place clearly knows how to treat their clients. Constantly with a welcoming attitude. The food is affordably priced, always delicious and clean.

Pulled pork too dry for me.. BBQ beans were tasty but I prefer coleslaw that's not so creamy. BBQ sauce seems to be vinegar based as it was not that sweet. Wish I had tried other items on menu which seemed reasonably priced. Definitely a friendly staff and good service.

It was good. Pulled pork sandwich and sweet tea. The meat was dry and the sandwich was tiny, which I preferred, but just added a little sauce and kerplunk! Delicious!

Delicious. Vinegar based sauce. You can get your bbq wet or dry with the sauce on the side. Slaw is freaking amazing.

The place in Macon is their relatively new location for a barbeque operation started in 1929. The 90+ years experience shows. This visit was during the Time Of Covid, so the only tables were the picnic tables out side. Oh, and don't touch the bagged brownies at the counter!Brunswick stew is probably part of your order. Good stuff, but I felt everything was chopped too fine so there didn't seem to be any texture. But I'm not 91 years old like Fresh Air it's so who am I to say?The BBQ pork (also finely chopped) was very good with a strong BBQ flavor. This should be a stop if you are rolling along I-75. (Heads up for the summer of 2020: meat prices have gone up so the menu pricing had been raised accordingly.) Also, if any review had helped you decide "Yes" or "No" for any place, give that writer a thumbs up! Thank you!

Pretty good bar-b-que. The sauce has a nice zing to it. Walk in and you will discover it has a very friendly home town feel.

Very Very good. Comfort food at such trying times. Very prompt and professional. Everyone was wearing a mask and no dining in right now. However, you can eat at picnic tables outside.

We have been going here since I was a child like over 40 years and was treated so bad today by one of their employees just asking fo 2 Xtra sauces. I have never had a problem there before and especially just asking for Xtra sauce with 2 pounds of BBQ. Wow it really made me mad and not going back very unprofessional and disrespected.

Went through drive up window and gave my order which included 2 extra small stews. When I got home I didn't have extra stews I had 2 baked beans. It wasn't the man at the windows fault but, the person fixing the orders.

This place has great ribs and one of the best places in middle Georgia for barbecue!

The barbecue is awesome as is the Brunswick stew, the cold slaw is delicious. I don't eat barbecue from any other place. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

This was a pleasant experience, both the ribs and pork BBQ were good. Coleslaw was excellent, sweet tea refreshing. This will definitely become a regular stop when I'm in town.

Hands down the best bbq and Brunswick stew anywhere. We've been eating at the original location as well as Macon for over 60 years. The stew consistency is very fine and has a nice kick to it.

I had to make a couple trips down the Macon area, and on one of them a local said we should try Fresh Air. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The BBQ was good, but the coleslaw was simply awesome. I actually ordered some extra to take back with me, and it served as dessert with a hamburger and baked potato I made the next evening. Definitely worth going there if you're in the area.

Great old timey Southern BBQ with vinegar based sauce. If you are a food snob, it's not trendy it traditional and delicious. Leave your sculpted beard and mustache wax at home and enjoy some genuine comfort food.

The best vinegar-based BBQ in middle GA!!! I love this place and can't get enough. It is an absolute staple for me. Tell 'em you want the "Special, with a big sweet tea and baked sour cream 'n onion chips"! Enjoy!
